2024 - Fan-made Music Video, Audio Visualization Exploration
A big Inspiration for me was the music and background animations from BMS (Be-Music Script) events, so I wanted to create my own background animation for a remix of an entry to The BMS of Fighters Eighteen -Summer Dream Traveler- called drink-colored eight star by Frums. As a hobbyist musician, I have a deep interest for music, so exploring audio visualization within video editing and learning After Effects was an enjoyable experience. I decided to explore the camera UI visuals again, however this time wanted elements of the UI to react to each sound in the excerpt of the song.
2022 - First After Effects Render, Sci-Fi Weather Camera UI
When I was starting to use Blender, I knew I wanted to incorporated VFX into my 3D work. As part of a project for my Intro to Digital Media course, I was tasked with creating a video using Photoshop layers. However, because I wanted to learn how to use After Effects too, I composited what I made in Photoshop into After Effects, experimenting with effects to see what I could create, and to attempt to match the grunge sci-fi aesthetic. With the design of the stylized lines, I was very inspired by TOHRU MiTSUHASHi's earlier animation works for BMS from 2007 to 2009. One of his works that influenced me the most is his animation for the song idealized land by void, which you can view by clicking here.
