2025 - Namaste Tokyo: Inside Japan's Nepali-Owned Indian Restaurants
A short video journalism project that I created motion graphics for and conducted an interview in. It covers one of many Indian restaurants ran by Nepali owners in Japan, and explores how various south and southeast Asian cultures are appreciated and blended together through food. It was a very enjoyable experience speaking to the owner, and we were very grateful that they allowed us to film this project!
2025 - Fall Motion Graphics Reel
A compilation of short motion graphics I made when I was studying in Japan for a semester. It was my first exposure to using Illustrator in the creation of vector graphics to animate in After Effects.
2024 - Fan-made Music Video, Audio Visualization Exploration
A big Inspiration for me was the music and background animations from BMS (Be-Music Script) events, so I wanted to create my own background animation for a remix of an entry by Frums. I have a deep interest for music as a hobbyist musician, so exploring audio visualization within motion graphics was an enjoyable experience.
2022 - Sci-Fi Weather Camera UI
A short stylized UI animation with cyberpunk aesthetics.
With the design of the stylized lines, I was very inspired by TOHRU MiTSUHASHi's earlier animation works for BMS from 2007 to 2009. One of his works that influenced me the most is his animation for the song idealized land by void, which you can view by clicking here.
